I’ve been quiet the past week and a half as I nursed a sick kiddo. It tears at my heart when my babe isn’t feeling well. He doesn’t get very sick that often, and when he does it takes me right back to his painful early NICU days. I hate feeling helpless and knowing there isn’t much I can do to make him feel better. The past weeks have been filled with snuggling a hot, feverish, sweaty little body, keeping up with medicine doses and refilling a vaporizer, reading books and giving hugs in the middle of the night, cleaning up messes and doing load after load of laundry, and not getting much sleep. Thankfully, all is well again and the Little Man is back and running, literally, pushing Mommy’s buttons and making up for lost time. Now I need a break to recuperate though, haha!
I have a lot to share from my time away: an awesome opportunity to scratch a goal off of my bucket list, a rekindled old friendship turned new, an amazing way to use my talents to give back to the widowed community, two weeks worth of Project 365 photos, and a DIY home reno I started today.
